I was highly recommended the Avon Anew Age-Transforming Foundation and been most impressed with this Avon foundation for normal day-to-day use.
My findings are that Anew age transforming foundation in Natural beige (one of Avon’s top selling colours) evens out skin tone well although not lasting quite long enough coverage wise. It is a quick and temporary fix for the nursery run but not for all day.
The Anew age transforming foundation comes with a pump to enable users to suitably proportion the product onto fingers or a cosmetics sponge, and apply by hand to the face. This Avon foundation has an improved formula to the existing Anew Foundation. The extra benefit is that it contains an antioxidant complex and helps prevent the look of early signs of ageing.
The Anew age transforming foundation immediately minimises the appearance of thin lines and folds, pores and age spots. Avon Cosmetics claim from highly reputable clinical trials that after one week—over 90% of women showed improvements in skin texture and clarity. After 4 weeks — over 90% of women showed a reduction in fine wrinkling and a more even appearance in natural skin tone.
For me personally, I see this Avon foundation as being more of a ‘temporary fix‘ than a long term solution to prevent signs of early ageing. I guess its ‘different strokes for different folks‘, and this may ‘float‘ certain people’s boats, but I am quite content to use this as an inexpensive foundation for the early nursery runs, when time is at a premium.
